Classy, elegant, and glamorous are the three words that describe the wedding of Rumbidzai and Tavengwa who wedded on the 27th of March 2021 at Lira Boutique in Thohoyandou in South Africa.
It was in 2019 that Tavengwa proposed to Rumbidzai who said Yes, and lobola was paid back home that same year.
The couple took their time to plan their wedding, which was all worth it as the results were a magnificent wedding.
The bride and the bridesmaids travelLed to the venue a day before the wedding to have enough time to prepare for the wedding.
On the wedding day, the team explored the venue and did some swimming before the hairstylist and the makeup artists arrived. Although they thought they were on time, they lived to the adage that women are never on time.
The ceremony that had been scheduled to begin at 5 pm ended up starting at 6 pm. Besides arriving late, it was a beautiful ceremony which had a breathtaking view of the dam, especially as the sunset.
The bride left everyone in awe as she walked down the aisle with her beautiful and elegant dress that had a vintage touch.
It was a beautiful ceremony which had the couple exchanging vows from the bottom of their hearts and expressing their love for each other in front of their relatives and friends. After the ceremony, they moved to the hall that was decorated beautifully in the colours white, gold and green all thanks to Rospa events.
The bridesmaids were dressed in beautiful emerald green long dresses with a slit showing off their beautiful skins.
The delicate menu impressed the guests as seen by how much the guests took to the dancefloor and danced away into the night.
The bridal party also did not disappoint as they took to the dancefloor and provided entertainment to the guests.
The couple later changed to their traditional attires in honour of their culture.
The wedding celebrations continued up to midnight.
