Common mistakes brides make

By Buhlebenkosi SIbanda

Planning a wedding is a handful and thank god you have two. The list below will help you take advantage of the mistakes other women have made to avoid falling into the same situations.

Not putting themselves first

There are people with all kinds of tastes at your wedding and are bound to be certain elements they don’t like. Who cares? It’s your wedding, put you and your wants first, the rest will adjust.

Not knowing your rights as a bride

Probabilities are that family and friends may chip in on funding, meaning they would want a say in the planning. However, if you don’t know your rights as a bride you will let them take over your wedding. Thus putting family and friendship boundaries is of major necessity unless the money comes with conditions of them having a say.

You forget to eat

The last thing you want at your wedding is low energy, lightheadedness, or the likelihood of fainting because of hunger. Eat you need all the energy to enjoy the day to the fullest.

You forget to have fun

Most brides focus on presenting a perfect day to their guests with thoughts of having the wedding of the year and lose sight of the fact that this is one of the biggest and happiest days of their lives. Let go a little and enjoy.
