It takes a very beautiful and confident woman to get married with her natural look.
Faith Ben defied all norms when she decided to go for a light face beat and be her natural self for her wedding with Ashley Tafirenyika on the 26th of March 2022 at the Golden Conifer Functions Venue.
Ashley and Faith got engaged on the 7th of October 2021 and the groom’s family paid lobola on the 9th of October 2021.
With only 5 months to their wedding, they managed to create a memorable, classy event with the groom and his groomsmen riding horses and beautiful music from the groom who sang, “Thinking out loud” by Ed Sheeran for his Bride’s entrance.
One of the many words I can use to describe Faith and Ashley’s wedding is unique because what others wouldn’t choose they took it and made it their own and made a classy wedding.
Their theme colors were black and white with a bit of gold to give a spark of class to the theme.
A few of the brides would allow the bridesmaids to rock white on their dresses but well Faith showed how selfless she is when she decided to go for it and it came out perfect.
“So we wanted it to be a black-tie event so we had to go for the black and white theme, however, we figured we couldn’t tell people to all wear black and white so we figured we had to just make the black and white pop on our bridal team”
The wedding ceremony was conducted by the couple’s End-time message Pastor, Apostle T Makaza with the ceremony MC Brother Kasu stirring the ship, and the live band from End Time Message playing soft and beautiful music.
The most memorable moment of the day for the couple was, “seeing our parents smiling when they were called up the stage to congratulate us, it’s the best feeling ever to know that you have made your parents proud, being the last born son and the only daughter in our families.”
When asked if they could change anything, “Oh well yes we would change the bride being late to the ceremony as this delayed the program, other than that everything was perfect to us,” Faith said.
Faith and Ashely encourage future brides and grooms to always be themselves, they had this to say, “We would love to just tell people to keep it real no matter what, do not try to be people you are not just to impress the society.”
“Love each other and be transparent about everything to avoid disappointments and wrong expectations. The road is not always perfect but love is worth the fight.”
Lastly, Faith had some special message for her fellow brides, “Future brides please make sure you pick exactly what you want for your wedding because it only comes once.
“However stick to your budget, don’t strain your parents and your partner asking for unreasonable things just make sure everything you are asking for is within your reach.”
“Remember to delegate because doing everything will drain you before the day and you will end up not enjoying the day at all. Above all pray, as all things are possible with God.”
